Writing group meeting in Teaneck, New Jersey

This group rarely ventures beyond subway range, but we do it on special occasions such as THIS!

One of our longtime/beloved members named Karen has hosted twice before in New Jersey (in 2015 and 2023) and is doing it again at her beautiful home in Teaneck. And as a thank you/incentive for us to make the trip, she's gonna cook up a whole lot of food for us.

The trip really isn't tough. From the Port Authority bus terminal in Manhattan, it's 12 miles away, and for you uptown folks, you can catch a bus at the George Washington Bridge bus terminal which is only five miles from Karen's place. I plan to get a 1:15pm bus (the 167-T) from the Port Authority, so let me know if you'd like to meet up and travel together. These buses cost $5.30 each way (cheaper for seniors), and Karen recommends that we arrive at least 20 minutes early to buy our tickets and line up.

The night before the meeting, I'll send all the details to people who are on the RSVP list, but for now, in case it helps you plan better, know that Karen does not have any pets, and her place isn't wheelchair accessible.
