Agenda:
* 5:30pm~6:00pm: Checkin, Food and networking
* 6:00pm~6:10pm: Welcome/community update
* 6:10pm~8:00pm: Tech talks
* 8:00pm: Q&A, Open discussionTech Talk: AI - The Tolerance-Based Framework
Speaker: Madona Wambua (Google Developer Expert, Adjunct Lecturer CUNY)
Abstract: As AI tools enter the software development lifecycle, the real challenge isn’t adoption it’s control. Madona presents a practical tolerance-based framework (Logical, Volatility, and Cognitive Tolerance) that helps leaders determine where AI-generated code is low-risk and where it requires strict oversight. Using examples from mobile and backend systems, I illustrate how high-tolerance areas thrive with AI acceleration while low-tolerance zones demand guardrails. Leaders will gain a structured method for evaluating AI output, enforcing reliability through static analysis and architectural boundaries, and scaling AI use without compromising stability or developer trust.Speakers and Topics:
If you have a keen interest in speaking to our community, we invite you to submit topics for consideration: Submit TopicsSponsors:
We are actively seeking sponsors to support our community. Whether it is by offering venue spaces, providing food/drink, or cash sponsor. Sponsors will not only speak at the meetups, receive prominent recognition, but also gain exposure to our extensive membership base of 20,000+ AI developers in New York and 500K+ worldwide.3 attendees
AWS AI Builder Lab - Clash of Agents Competition
Location not specified yetImportant: Register on the event website is required for admission.
Build. Compete. Win.
The AWS AI Builder Lab - Clash of Agents Competition is where developers master production-grade multi-agent AI systems in one intensive day. Limited to 200 qualified builders.In collaboration with OpenAI, Hiddenlayer, LangChain, Protopia, Fiddler, and Coder, this immersive lab is designed to transform how developers architect and deploy agentic AI applications. We're moving beyond basic chatbots into the world of sophisticated, multi-agent AI systems.
This is not a lecture or networking event—it's an interactive, hands-on experience crafted for developers, engineers, builders, and tech leads looking to integrate AI into real workflows. You'll coordinate intelligent systems to tackle dynamic, real-world challenges in a gamified environment with prizes for top performers.
🎮 Competition Format:
Compete in real-time as you build and deploy multi-agent AI systems. Earn points across partner-specific challenges, climb the live leaderboard, and demonstrate your AI engineering skills. Individual scoring with prizes for overall winners and category champions.🏆 Competition Prizes:
to be announced.What You’ll Experience:
- Deep-Dive Tech Talks: Foundational insights into building robust and secure agentic workflows
- Instructor-Led Workshops: Guided, hands-on sessions where you build alongside experts using modern AI SDLC tools
- The Interactive Lab: A gamified experience where you coordinate AI systems in real-time with measurable outcomes and live scoreboards
What You'll Learn:
- Design, implement, and orchestrate powerful multi-agent workflows
- Utilize SDLC agentic tools to build, deploy, secure, and operate agentic workflows—from idea to production
- Master Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Bedrock Agents for production AI workloads, integrated with partner AI solutions
Who Should Attend:
- Developers with 3+ years experience looking to integrate AI into workflows
- Technical leads driving AI adoption initiatives
- DevOps engineers building AI pipelines
- Platform engineers designing scalable AI infrastructure
