NYC Maitreya Sangha Study - Introduction to Astrology

Astrology is one of the keys to the Ancient Mysteries, and is one of the most illuminating sciences through which the soul can come to understand its own incarnation.

When properly understood it will be seen as one of the "Sciences of the New Age" and which can aid a sincere seeker to understand the lessons of the present incarnation and how to use this Sacred Science to make the most out of the present incarnation.

Our goal in this class, is simple: to empower you to read the heavens for yourself.

We will cover the exoteric with an eye to understanding the esoteric and will consider:

- The language of planets, signs & houses.
- The deeper archetypal currents behind them.
- The mythic stories encoded in each sign, including the Labors of Hercules as revealed by the Ageless Wisdom tradition.
- The timing of events in your life through transits & cycles.

And we will endeavor to aid seekers to track the great planetary influences moving through humanity and to discover the karmic patterns & soul intentions woven into the natal chart.

Meetings can be attended either:

• In person, at the NYC Maitreya Sangha Meditation center in Manhattan on 21st St. between 5th and 6th Ave. Please email us the day before to find out if we will meet in person at the Lodge or only online.
