🎨 Open Call for Artists – Submit Your Fungi-Inspired Work
The Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition and Brooklyn Mushroom invite artists from around the world to submit work for FUNGI, a juried art exhibition celebrating the mysterious and transformative world of mushrooms. This multimedia show welcomes visual art, sculpture, video, sound, performance, and mixed media that explore the intersections of mycology, art, science, and psychedelia. Selected works will be exhibited in a 25,000 sq. ft. waterfront gallery in Red Hook, Brooklyn from June 7–29, 2025. Final submission deadline is Sunday, May 16, 2025.

Brooklyn's vibrant culinary scene is set to welcome a unique addition this spring with the opening of the Mushroom Café, a fungi-themed eatery celebrating the diverse world of mushrooms. Located in the heart of Brooklyn, this café offers a menu rich in mushroom-inspired dishes, from savory paninis and wraps to delightful vegan and gluten-free desserts. Patrons can also enjoy a selection of artisanal coffees, teas, and local kombuchas in a cozy, art-filled environment that pays homage to the mycelial networks that connect our natural world

Start your day at the FUNGI art exhibition at BWAC (@bwacredhook). Wander through 40+ stunning works of fungi-inspired art in a massive waterfront warehouse and enjoy live performances, interactive art, and family-friendly workshops.
🍺 2:30 PM – Sip Locally at Keg & Lantern Brewing Company
