Dan is currently the CTO of Lifebooker.com, a leading Daily Deal and yield management platform for local businesses. Previously, Dan worked at Xandros, a Linux desktop software maker and ShermansTravel.com, an online travel media and advertising site.

Dan worked extensively with PHP and Java as well as some C and C++ before discovering Ruby and Rails in 2005. His current focus is in building scalable web applications using a Service Oriented Architecture and data denormalization with Lifebooker.
