Data Science Beyond Modeling: Ascending within your Business

We are ready to roll out Soft skills for Data Science Career workshops in the next five coming Tuesdays from April 23rd to May 20th, from 1pm to 2pm(EST).

This series of workshops will be quite different from most of our courses, as it will not focus on coding or modeling. Instead, we would be preparing you for all of the other challenges that come with working as a Data Scientist within the context of a business. This includes coordinating within your own DS team, and externally with non-DS colleagues.If you’re looking to ascend beyond entry-level positions, there are core concepts and soft skills that will be essential for your growth. Most organizations will provide little in the way of proactive guidance - generally giving more reactive, negative feedback on how you should improve. This course will aim to provide those proactive guidelines so that you can be ready to hit the ground running!All are welcome to attend!

• April 23rd: Session 1 - high-level introduction and overview
• April 30th: Session 2 - Business Value
• May 7th: Session 3 - Project Coordination
• May 14th: Session 4 - Documentation
• May 21th: Session 5 - Planning and Ticketing

Starting on April 23th, Ending on May 21st.

Five Tuesdays, 1pm-2pm(EST) will be the workshop time.
