Damon Runyon 5K at Yankee Stadium

Registration is now open for the sixth annual Damon Runyon 5K at Yankee Stadium, a run/walk that supports cancer research and uses the Stadium as its course. This year’s event will take place on Sunday, August 3, 2014. Here are some event highlights:

• Participants run or walk the concourses and ramps, climb stairs between levels, and are featured on the centerfield video board as they take laps around the warning track that circles the field.
• There is a $50 entry fee and a minimum fundraising requirement of $60 for all participants.
• Capacity is limited to 4,000 participants and registration will close on July 22.
• 100% of donations participants raise support the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation.
