Intro to Personalized Cancer Vaccines

A few folks from the Hammerlab will give brief presentations on therapeutic vaccines which target mutant tumor antigens and can elicit immune responses against established cancers. Since each patient's vaccine depends on their cancer's mutational profile, the design of personalized vaccines is grounded in both genomics (to detect mutations) and machine learning (to predict which mutant proteins might be antigenic).
