Join us for the second of a series of dialogues focused on the recently published "How to Live a Good Life: A Guide to Choosing Your Personal Philosophy of Life," co-edited by Massimo Pigliucci, Skye Cleary, and Daniel Kaufman.

The second episode will focus on differences and similarities between Buddhism and Hinduism. Our guests will be Owen Flanagan and Deepak Sarma.
Owen is the James B. Duke Professor of Philosophy and Professor of Neurobiology at Duke University. He has done work in philosophy of mind, philosophy of psychology, philosophy of social science, ethics, contemporary ethical theory, moral psychology, as well as on Buddhist and Hindu conceptions of the self.
Deepak Sarma is professor of Indian religions and philosophy at Case Western Reserve University and the author of Classical Indian Philosophy: A Reader (2011), Hinduism: A Reader (2008), Epistemologies and the Limitations of Philosophical Inquiry: Doctrine in Madhva Vedanta (2005) and An Introduction to Madhva Vedanta (2003).
