A Downtown & Wall Street Photo Meetup
Details
Let’s explore Lower Manhattan, the canyons of finance
and the downtown area.
Saturday March 21st at @2:00 pm
On the Corner of Fulton Street and Broadway outside the Fulton Street Transit Hub.
We will begin by walking down Broadway to Trinity Church where we can visit the graveyard and see some of the very oldest tombstones in New York, including Alexander Hamilton’s gravesite.
Then we will continue down famous Wall Street including a stop by the Stock Exchange and an opportunity to photograph the Fearless Girl.
Continuing along Wall Street with it’s high buildings and we will turn off on Water Street for a few blocks and then down to the South Street Seaport for a wander around looking for photos.
Then it’s back along to Wall Street turning back up and back to Water Street but this time in the other direction where we will discover the little known “Elevated Acre” followed by our final destination at the Veteran’s Memorial.
After our walk we can indulge in beverages and snacks in the popular Stone Street Historic District where we can find a myriad of touristy restaurants to choose from.
Don't forget your charged batteries and empty memory cards.
Tripods are not needed on this photo walk. All-purpose zoom lenses are suggested but any and all cameras are welcome as are all users from novice to expert.
Please be on time! The NYC Subway System is a hellscape of unimaginable delays that will wreak havoc on your mind, body, schedule, and soul. Plan your trip with some extra time!
