Pulaski Bridge Evening Photo-Walk From Queens To Brooklyn

Start the weekend off with a great walk viewing Manhattan's East Side at Sunset from high on the Pulaski Bridge as we walk from Queens over to Brooklyn.
Friday, August 14th. We will meet on 49th Avenue in Queens outside of the Hunter's Point Subway Station on the 7 train at 7:00 pm.
Once we are all assembled, we will head towards the Pulaski Bridge. We will wander slowly across the bridge, over Newtown Creek towards Brooklyn enjoying great views of the city as the daylight fades into the evening. We will also enjoy the sunset at 7:55 pm and the following blue hour.
After the bridge we can shoot the views of Manhattan's East Side from the Greenpoint waterfront where we can practice long exposures and night shooting.
This is quite a long walk so please wear comfortable shoes . We will eventually find the L train in Williamsburg and return back to Manhattan. An alternative would be the G train which will be close by.
This is a golden hour, blue hour, and night shooting event so a tripod would be really useful. Don’t forget charged batteries and empty memory cards.
One time we did this walk during a blackout and we got to watch the lights go out in Manhattan. I doubt that will happen this time but I hope you will join me.
Please be on time! The NYC Subway System is a hellscape of unimaginable delays that will wreak havoc on your mind, body, schedule, and soul. Plan your trip with some extra time!
