Dinner & Draw at DUMBO (Twilight edition)

Hello NYC artists, doing something a little different this time! Inspired by the beautiful sunset and twinkling skyline, let's do a dinner and twilight drawing/painting session at DUMBO!

Bring your own materials, whatever media you are comfortable with. I recommend something fast and easy to use - watercolor, acrylics, pencils, ink or even a digital painting tool (e.g. iPad and digital pen). It doesn't matter if you're an expert or totally new to drawing/painting, this group is for everyone who just wants to be outside and be creative! I also recommend bringing some water and snacks for yourself, and perhaps a blanket or something to sit on.

FIRST, we will grab a quick dinner at TimeOut Market, we'll gobble it down in 30 mins or so - please try to be on time as we will move on to find a painting spot immediately after dinner! AFTER DINNER, we'll find a spot near the carousel to sit down and draw/paint until around 9:15pm. I’ll be holding a basket of white hydrangea so that you can recognize me, I'll wait for a max of 10-15 mins. Please check back here the day before the event as I might make changes based on the weather.

INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO GET THERE:

You can take the A/C or the F line to get to a subway stop near DUMBO. You could also take the East River ferry to DUMBO - highly recommended!
