About us
Welcome to the NYC Ramen Enthusiasts Club. This Meetup group, formed in 2017, is dedicated to ramen fans, supporters, devotees, as well as aficionados. We have grown to over 1700 members!The club is built on values of being open-minded, progressive, kind, and hungry. The goal is to foster a sense of community through food and friendship.
We will go to dinner once or twice month. Each dinner will be limited to a small group.
We go to some of the best ramen shops in the city and also periodically try some of NYC's finest Asian noodles from soba to udon to pho.
Rules:
- Members, please must bring cash to pay for your ramen!
- You cannot skip a dinner. If you need to change your RSVP please do so within 48 hours of the event to be be courteous to others. Those who cannot follow this simple rule will be removed from the group---so sorry, can't have last minute cancellations and no shows with a dinner meetup.
- Excessively holding and changing RSVPs to hold spots and not attending is challenging for people who want to attend. Please make sure you can attend a dinner! Excessive schedule changes without 0% attendance will result in removal from the group. So sorry, there a lot of members who wish to join the dinners.

Special Fundraiser Dinner at Ivan Ramen ($35 per person)
Ivan Ramen, 25 Clinton Street, New York, NY, USOn Oct 15, NYC Ramen Enthusiasts organizer Laura S. is hosting a small benefit dinner at Ivan Ramen NYC!
We're raising funds to support Global Alms, a Thailand-based NGO that fights to eliminate the trafficking, sexual exploitation and the physical abuse of men, women and children. The dinner is for twenty people and we are welcoming five members from our meetup group. 100% of your $35.00 donation will go the Global Alms Thailand, a small counter trafficking NGO.
Your $35 include one main dish and shared appetizers:
Veggie Spicy Miso Red Chili, Chicken Paitan, Tonkotsu Ramen, Truffled Vegan Shoyu, Tokyo Shio, Chicken Katsu Curry (non-ramen)Shared appetizers will include: Miso Caesar, Crispy Nasu (Eggplant), Karaage, Mittsu Tomo (Small Bites - Pickles, Potato Salad, and Delicata Squash).

Dinner at Afuri Ramen (Manhattan location)

Afuri Ramen is a global Toyko-based ramen chain known for its yuzu shio, classic tonkotsu, and wagyu ramen. Their signature gyoza is crispy and pan fried, and they also serve a variety of sushi and donburi. The food is known for being hearty but also light. Come join the group at Afuri in Manhattan!
