Midsommar i Rockefeller Park

Celebrate Midsummer with us!

Please RSVP here only if you intend to sit with us at the event. Also, this is very likely the last SSCNY event (unless someone else takes over the group) ... so if you ever were planning to come but never got around to it, this is the year to pull the trigger.

To everyone who is coming and intends to sit with us: I will send out an email with all the details about where we will be sitting, etc. If you do not get the email, let an organizer know by the morning of 6/23. We purposefully sit in a spot that is pretty easy to find.

Things to know now:

The event technically runs from 5:00-8:00pm. Highly recommend coming at 4:00 or as early as you can. Cannot stress this enough. The park usually gets packed with people, especially if it’s a nice day. If you don't get there on the early side, it is possible you will not find room to sit with us. But don't look at coming early as anything but a better time, especially if it's a nice day.

Bring a blanket or something to sit on and anything you want to eat or drink. Don't forget water! According to the event website, there will be food trucks also.

Lastly, we're going to try to sit underneath some trees, but it can be sunny so for sure wear sunscreen.
