Rethinking Agile Scaling: A Hands-on Workshop with a Robotics-Inspired Approach - Sue Ryu
(90 min workshop)

Have you ever encountered roadblocks when scaling Agile using established frameworks like SAFe, LeSS, or Scrum at Scale? Are issues related to managing dependencies, bottlenecks, and delays proving to be headaches? It might be time to explore an innovative approach – the application of Subsumption architecture. This hands-on workshop introduces a novel approach inspired by Robotics subsumption architecture to simplify and enable decentralized decision-making processes, fostering team autonomy and accountability in organizations.

Through a simulation using Lego cards, each representing an Agile Team, participants will collaborate to design and evolve an organization for a dynamic eAuction case study. This unique approach models an agile scaling for the eAuction company incrementally by adding customer segments and scaling organization’s structure incrementally, providing participants with an experiential understanding of how autonomous, customer-centered agile teams can grow cohesively.

Join me on this journey to unlock the true potential of Agile scaling. Embrace the future of collaborative integration, autonomy, and accelerated product delivery. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to revolutionize your Agile scaling.
