NYC Singles Happy Hours and City Adventures runs two kinds of events for single New Yorkers. The reliable one is happy hour, held at bars around Manhattan and Brooklyn with hosts who actually introduce people, because a room full of strangers only works if somebody breaks the seal. The fun one is the city adventure, a rotating lineup of picnics, museum wanders, street food crawls, and whatever else this city offers in a given month.
Between the two formats you can build a genuinely full social calendar out of this group alone, and plenty of members have. The crowd spans ages, boroughs, and industries, and arriving alone is the house style. There is no pressure to be witty, successful, or anything other than pleasant company for a couple of hours.
