Join us for a night of discovery at an amazing greek wine tasting! Greek wines are a long and storied history and is one of the world’s most ancient viticultural locations, but they still deserve more attention from today’s, curious wine drinker! Today Greece’s oldest varieties have found a growing audience on the international market, thanks to passionate sommelier’s and wine historians.

Among Greece’s more than 300 indigenous grapes, several are millennia old. Grapes such as Assyrtiko, Limnio, Robola and Liatiko are just a few that draw particular attention for their world class quality, with traditional and modern styles that align with 21st Century palates! This evening of supreme taste and discovery will be occurring in one of the most elegant and delectable Greek restaurants in all of the 5 boroughs!

What to expect:

• Meet and greet and check in with fellow wine enthusiasts from 7 to 7:15 pm.
• Complimentary delicious light bites at 7:15 pm while supplies last!
• Professional presentation on the glorious history of Greek wines and elevated taste of 4 of ELIA’s top selections from 7:30 to 8pm!
• Unlimited pours of these wines from 8 to 9 pm!
• An authentic top tier private Greek Wine Tasting in Elia which is a top Greek Restaurant for those in the know!

Can I come alone? Yes about 90% will attend on their own.

Do I need to know about wine? No, most come for the enjoyment of wine.

What's dress code? Wear what you had on at work. It is a casual and comfortable atmosphere.

What are the ages? 21 and over. We'll have a good mix of ages. Everyone always seems to find people in their peer group to hang and taste with.

How much to attend? $44 (goes to $49 as event gets closer).

Do I have to buy in advance? Yes. Space is limited and this will sell out. An RSVP alone will not hold your spot.
