What we’re about

Welcome to NYC Sunday Social!
This group is for anyone in their 20s, 30s, and 40s who wants to build real friendships in New York through small, in-person meetups—like brunches, coffee chats, and dinners—in a relaxed, low-pressure setting.

We know that New York can feel overwhelming at times, especially when you're trying to make genuine connections. That’s why we keep our gatherings small and intentional—to make it easier to meet people, have real conversations, and form friendships that last beyond just one event.

We use Groupvibe to help match people with similar interests and coordinate each meetup. The goal is to make socializing easier and more intentional, especially for people who are new to the city or looking to expand their circle.

How it works:
We host curated gatherings of 4–6 people at cafés, restaurants, and other cozy spots across the city. You’ll be matched with others based on age, interests, and availability. It’s not just about showing up—it’s about creating space for meaningful connections. Many members stay in touch after their first meetup.

Group affiliation:
This group is organized by the team behind Groupvibe, a platform designed to help people connect offline. While we use Groupvibe to organize and manage the logistics of each event, the purpose of this group is entirely community-focused — helping people in New York form real friendships through consistent, small-scale meetups.

Who should join?
Anyone in New York (ages 25–45) who’s looking for more intentional social experiences. Whether you’re new to the city or simply want to grow your circle beyond work and acquaintances, you’re welcome here.

Let’s make New York feel a little smaller, one Sunday meetup at a time.
