Beyond the Platform: Building a Repeatable Process in TradingView
Details
In Part 1, we took a grand tour of TradingView — setting up your environment, navigating the platform, and building the habits that separate professional traders from beginners. If you missed it, the recording will be available.
Now it's time to go deeper.
Part 2 picks up exactly where we left off.
We're going to do a full deep dive into the drawing tools and templates that are at the core of professional chart analysis.
Instead of rebuilding your setups from scratch every single time, we'll show you how to create custom, reusable templates for your most-used tools — so you can mark up a chart in seconds, not minutes.
What We'll Cover in This Session:
Drawing Object Templates — We'll walk through how to create, save, and apply custom templates for the tools you use every day: rectangles for supply and demand zones, trendlines, and more.
You'll learn how to embed color-coding and text directly into your templates so your charts are always clean, consistent, and ready to share.
Essential Indicators (and Which Ones to Ignore) —
We'll cut through the noise and show you the small, highly effective set of indicators that actually matter for futures trading.
No clutter, no confusion — just the tools that provide real value on a chart.
Applied Price Action — We won't just show you buttons to click. We'll mark up live charts together, using key supply and demand zones, and high-probability trade setups using the exact formations we trade.
The Risk/Reward Visualizer — We'll do a detailed walkthrough of the Long/Short Position tool — TradingView's built-in "measuring tape" — so you can visualize your entry, stop-loss, and profit target before you ever place a trade.
This is one of the most important habits you can build as a trader.
The goal of this session is to leave you with a system — not just a set of skills.
By the end of this session, you'll have a repeatable process for analyzing any futures chart, marking it up quickly and accurately, and assessing whether a setup meets your risk criteria before you commit to a trade.
This is the foundation you need.
