Walk the West Side

Time for this group to have an event!

Will meet outside the Staten Island Ferry (Manhattan side) at 10:30 AM. The Whitehall Street/South Ferry is the closest stop, servicing the 1 and R trains (other lines stop a short walk away).

Plan to hike along the Hudson River to 72nd Street, six and a half miles or so, easy flat walk mostly through Riverside Park. Drop out points almost anywhere along the route.

Bring water, sunscreen, snacks as needed. Bathrooms (mostly gendered) at the Ferry Terminal and every so often on the walk.

If It’s a nice day those interested could eat and/or have a drink at the Pier i Cafe along the river around 70th Street. Awful weather cancels the walk.

Also, obviously, will cancel if no one RSVPs.
