1. Making final edits to the Registration pages. We have beta tested the flow with our interns and mentors from Y-Combinator and have gotten good responses. We will finalize these pages on the meeting. Rob and Zion are going to start the coding in Swift this week.

2. We are getting into the deep details of group chat; how move easily from one chat room to another, keeping the chat page clean and simple, etc. We will be asking for all your expert advice and suggestions.

3. The meetings are now running about 90 minutes. Just stay as long as you can.

NEWS ITESM:

1. We are sending out a survey asking for new name suggestions. Will have something for everyone to review is a week or so.

BUT WAIT, there is more.

• We set up a Skype channel (NYC UI Meetup Tuesday) just for for all of you that want to get a little more involved that attending the Tuesday meetings. We currently have about 25 people in our channel now working with us.

OUR BACKSTORY
Seven years ago I asked 60 girls (ages 5 - 17) growing up in the projects what their dreams were. They all wanted to be singers like Beyonce. But, the older girls all said they were old enough to know that dreams don’t come true for people like them. What if our children stop dreaming?

In an increasingly negative world, that seems like the inevitable conclusion. So the only option we have is to make the world more positive. The week after I spoke to those teens, I did that in a small way by opening an indie record label and signing teen artists growing up in foster care, homeless shelters, or group homes for troubled teens. Today, none are famous singers, but almost all of them are in college on scholarships. That’s crushing the national average of 2-3% for their peers.

Hideouts is the means of providing that to millions of people instead of dozens -- to make the world better in a big way. Hideouts will be the cure to the hopelessness that seems to define our world today.

So, if you have a big heart and some time to help - we will see you at our weekly event.
