Brooklyn mansions and Prospect Park

DATE CHANGED: SATURDAY NOT SUNDAY, AT 11 AM. NO SMORGASBURG SATURDAY
First we'll walk through the tree-lined streets of elegant Ditmas Park, packed with lovely Victorian mansions in a suburban setting--you won't believe it's still NYC! Then we'll walk to nearby Prospect Park for lunch (bring your own.) Afterwards we'll explore this big and beautiful park.
DISTANCE: About 4 to 5 miles. We'll finish at around 4:30 PM, but you can leave earlier, of course.
LUNCH: Buy at Smorgasburg or bring your own.
TRANSPORTATION: Q train to Church Ave. (Shuttle bus replaces Q between Coney Island and Kings Highway. Consult MTA planned service changes for other weekend changes on your subway lines.)
RESTROOMS AT START OF WALK: Please consider using the ones inside the station before you exit. There are also bathrooms outside, which I will describe when you arrive, but they are less convenient
