Chelsea art galleries plus late food-court lunch

NOTE: MEETUP REQUIRES A SPECIFIC LOCATION, SO I ARBITRARILY ENTERED HOFFMAN GALLERY. BUT THAT WILL PROBABLY CHANGE ONCE I SCOUT THE GALLERIES NEXT WEEK. I WILL POST THE ACTUAL LOCATION AND NOTIFY YOU THEN.
Chelsea has the largest and best group of contemporary-art galleries in NYC. They time their best exhibitions for the holiday season, which for most galleries runs through at January 10th or later. I'll try to choose the best of the best. After the roughly two-hour tour we'll walk to the nearby Market 57 food court for lunch (buy or bring your own)

DISTANCE: About 1.5 miles

TRANSPORTATION: C, E or A train to 23rd St. Please google MTA planned service changes to view weekend changes on your subway lines.

LUNCH: We will arrive at the food court, Market 57, at around 3 PM. You can buy late lunch there or bring your own.

COST: $1, to cover Meetup's recently doubled organizer fee plus whatever you pay for lunch
