SOHO art galleries then late lunch

We'll visit a number of luxurious art galleries, some strange (but soothing) art installations, and some architectural highlights of this historic neighborhood. Then we'll have an optional late lunch at a food court in nearby Chinatown.

DISTANCE: About 2 miles.

LUNCH: Bring your own or buy it at 98 Food Court, which we'll reach by around 2:30 to 3 PM. Bring a snack to tide you over till then.

TRANSPORTATION: C or E train to Spring St. Walk east on spring, then south on W. Broadway. However the uptown c train is not stopping at Spring Street this weekend. So take any uptown train to West 4th and transfer to the Downtown C. Or take the F or M train to Broadway Lafayette or the 6 to Bleecker, which is a somewhat longer walk (nearly 10 minutes) to the meeting place.
