Chelsea Art Gallery Hop

THIS WILL BE A FUN AND INTERESTING EVENT. I HAVE DONE MANY, MANY GALLERY HOPS OVER THE YEARS IN ALL DIFFERENT NEIGHBORHOODS. They are always fast paced and a bit insane but in a good way!

WE HAVE A LOT OF RULES. SORRY-I CAN’T HELP MYSELF.

IF YOU HAVE NEVER ATTENDED AN EVENT BEFORE WITH THIS GROUP AND I DON’T KNOW YOU, YOU MUST SEND ME YOUR E-MAIL TO [bsb2@att.net](mailto:bsb2@att.net) as soon as you join the going list. This will help me communicate more effectively with you. If you cannot abide by this simple request, you are going to end up on the NOT going list.

I WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY MONETARY CONTRIBUTIONS ON THIS EVENT EVEN IF YOU TRY TO FORCE YOUR MONEY ON ME! On some few events where I give a tour, I will require a contribution but the amount of that contribution is entirely up to you and there is always a money back guarantee.

We are going to visit many, many, many art galleries and will not spend much time in any of them. If your attention span is similar to that of a fruit fly (and there was one flying around in my apartment a few years ago), this event will be especially appealing to you. Of course, if you see a gallery you like, you can always come back on your own. And that's why we do this. (Photo is a painting by Vestie Davis of Coney Island in 1968 that I own.) WE PLAN ON MAKING A VISIT TO A SPECIAL GALLERY AND IT'S SPECIAL BECAUSE OF IT'S LOCATION.

I am going to ask that people NOT post any comments or questions prior to the event. You have more than enough information to do this once you get the meeting details. No offense, but I don’t need to know-and probably neither does anyone else- what you are doing that day if you can’t make it or what you think the weather will be. You may even think you have some deep insight into something or other. Please keep that deepness to yourself. AFTER the event, post as many comments and photos as you like. PLEASE RESPECT MY WISHES ON THIS.

If the weather forecast is really bad, See Accuweather like I do, I will post a notice on the day of the hike by 7:00 A.M. If there is no notice, we go.

We will finish BEFORE 5:00 p.m. near West 34th Street, Hudson Yards and Penn Station. Of course you can leave any time.
