This is our second event with this group. We walk at a brisk pace for about 4 miles.

On every event we lead, I expect members to take the RSVP seriously and be considerate of me and other members.

IF YOU HAVE NEVER ATTENDED AN EVENT BEFORE WITH THIS GROUP AND I DON’T KNOW YOU, YOU MUST SEND ME YOUR E-MAIL TO bsb2@att.net as soon as you RSVP AND place your e-mail address in the body of your e-mail. This will help me communicate more effectively with you. If you cannot abide by this simple request, you are going to end up on the NOT going list.

I WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY MONETARY CONTRIBUTIONS ON THIS EVENT EVEN IF YOU TRY TO FORCE YOUR MONEY ON ME!

On some few events where I give a tour, I will require a contribution but the amount of that contribution is entirely up to you and there is always a money back guarantee.

On our second event, which will be approximately 4 miles at a reasonably fast pace, our goal is to end up at what I think is consistently the best art gallery in NYC. To get there, I would like to try something a bit different.
At the beginning, we will travel below ground in Grand Central Station for nearly half a mile. When we come out, we will head for Central Park where we will wander around the Park, I will provide very brief commentary, and then…I would like to show people where there is an inconspicuous door which MAY be an entrance to an underground bunker connected to a water tunnel below Central Park. Then we go to the gallery. Prepare to be impressed when you visit this gallery. (Photo is a painting by Henry Pember Smith done in the late 1800's)

I am going to ask that people NOT post any comments or questions prior to the event. You have more than enough information to do this once you get the meeting details. No offense, but I don’t need to know-and probably neither does anyone else- what you are doing that day if you can’t make it or what you think the weather will be. You may even think you have some deep insight into something or other. Please keep that deepness to yourself. AFTER the event, post as many comments and photos as you like. PLEASE RESPECT MY WISHES ON THIS.

If the weather forecast is really bad, I will post a notice on the day of the hike by 7:00 A.M. If there is no notice, we go.
We will finish AROUND 1 P.M in the East 70’s of Manhattan
