Come join us at the House of West, NYC’s weekly space to learn, practice, social dance West Coast Swing (WCS)!
If you’re new to WCS, don’t worry – our Level 1 Beginner class is perfect for you. No experience or partner is necessary, and all levels are welcome.
Here are the details:
• 7pm – Level 2 Advanced Beginner Class
• 8pm – Level 1 Beginner WCS Class
• 9pm – Social dance ’til 11:30pm
• Danznik Studios, 240 W 37th St, 2nd Fl
In our Level 1 class, you’ll learn six and eight count rhythms through basic patterns and footwork for Modern Swing. No partner needed, and all levels are welcome. The class is beginner-focused, so it’s perfect for first-timers.
Our Level 2 class will teach you pattern variations, advanced footwork, and musicality for Modern Swing. No partner needed, but a prerequisite of six to eight Level 1 classes or permission from the instructor is required.
