What we’re about
WiMLDS's mission is to support and promote women and gender minorities who are practicing, studying or interested in the fields of machine learning and data science. We create opportunities for women and gender minorities to engage in technical and professional conversations in a positive, supportive environment by hosting talks by prominent data scientists, technical workshops, networking events and hackathons. We are inclusive to anyone who supports our cause regardless of gender or technical background. However, in support of our mission, priority for certain events and opportunities will be given to women and gender minorities.
Our Code of Conduct is available online and applies to all our spaces, both online and off.

AI Spark Night: Learn and Connect
BrainStation, 136 Crosby Street, New York, NY, USA, New York, NY, USCome get the ⚡️AI spark⚡️ with NYC Women in Machine Learning and Data Science! We are wrapping up the year with an evening of inspiration, learning and connection.
We'll do a couple AI demos to spark ideas and conversation, as well as general networking with fellow women in AI, Machine Learning and Data Science. Whether you're exploring AI casually or building something ambitious, this is a relaxed, welcoming space to learn from others and share what you're working on.
Bring a demo if you have one! This could be a side project, startup or a AI/ML project at your company -- demos won't be recorded. It doesn't have to be polished! We're demoing for support and community.
We will have time for adhoc demos, but if you want to save a dedicated spot early on, let us know what you are demoing here!
What to Expect:
- 6:00 PM - 6:30 PM: Arrival & Networking
- 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM: AI/ML Demos
- 7:30 PM - 8:00 PM: AI Conversations / Networking
