The SHSNY Day of Reason speaker this year will be Rob Palmer, former aerospace engineer, current columnist in the Skeptical Inquirer, and co-host of the Recovering from Religion show.

Mr. Palmer’s talk will center on “Recovering from Religion.”

Meetings are private despite being open to the public. Recordings are prohibited. You may share what you learned, but not direct quotes and identities.

Other Events:
There are multiple, recurring event series for our NYCA events. We meet every Wednesday 8:30PM-10:00PM with After Hours on Zoom. We meet every 5th Sunday, which happens 4 times a year, 1:00PM-3:00PM for Lunch at Phebe's Tavern & Grill. There is no recurring event series for the Lunch Meetings.

We meet every 1st & 4th Friday 7:00PM-9:00PM at the NYSEC Meeting House with multiple secular groups. There are separate recurring event series for each Friday, and some groups have after parties. We meet every 5th Friday, which happens 4 times a year, at a special location. There is no recurring event series for the 5th Fridays.
