This recurring event series is a partner event from The Reason Center from Sacramento CA. There are separate recurring events series for the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays. Check out our recurring event series for our Wednesday Zoom meeting: 8:30PM-10:00PM (+After Hours). We meet in-person at the NYSEC Meeting House every 1st & 4th Fridays: 7:00PM-9:00PM. There are separate recurring event series for each Friday. We also meet on 5th Sundays at Phebe’s Tavern & Grill: 1:00PM-3:00PM and 5th Fridays at a special location.

Coming to your home theatre by Zoom! The Reason Center of Sacramento will host a monthly movie night where we will share movies and discuss afterward. The Reason Center has an MPLC License (https://www.mplc.org/page/the-umbrella-license), which allows us to legally show copyrighted films and TV programs in public spaces as long as we follow a couple of simple rules:

1. We can't make any money from showing these films - no problem, we would dream of charging admission!
2. We can't publish movie titles on public platforms like meetup.

So, to abide by that second rule, we'll tell you generally that the movie will either be some historical piece or biopic focused on the heroes of the humanistic and secular movement, or we may occasionally enjoy some fun comedy or cartoon, so long as it will lead to a good discussion, afterward.

We will discuss future films to show at the end of each event, or if you see us in real life or a Zoom meeting, we'll be happy to tell you what movie we plan to show next. So stay tuned!
