MOUNT TAMMANY VIA RED DOT AND BLUE DOT LOOP
Experience this 3.6-mile loop trail near Pahaquarry, New Jersey. Generally considered a challenging route , with 1,213 ft elevation gain, it takes an average of 2 h 19 min without break to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are March through November.

Depart 7:00 AM from Queens: (Across street from Sheraton LaGuardia East Hotel) 135-20 39th Ave, Flushing, NY 11354 (Map). Subway lines (Main St-Flushing): 7.
Depart 7:40 AM from Midtown NYC: (ViVi Bubble Tea) Corner of 43rd St and 9th Ave New York, NY 10036 (Map) Subway lines (Times Sq-42 St): A, C, E, 1, 2, 3, 7, N, Q, R, S.
Depart 8:00 AM from NJ: (North Bergen Park & Ride) Commuter Parking Lot, North Bergen, NJ 07047 (Map) Please wait near the bus stop. Note: Daily parking is $10, includes the bus transit.
Return Date/Time: Depart around 2:45 PM, and expect to arrive at North Bergen at 4:00 PM, midtown NYC at 4:30 PM & Queens at 5:30 PM

TENTATIVE PLAN (Plan may vary depending on weather among other factors)

1. • Arrive around 9:15 AM for hiking at Mount Tammany Loop
   • Who Should Come: Prior hiking experience required. This is moderately challenging route, and will take average 3.5 hours to complete, including 15 minutes snack break & other mini breaks (Please bring your snacks & drinks).
   • What To Wear/Bring: Wear hiking boots; bring water bottles, hat, snacks, drinks, sunblock scream and an extra layer of clothes.
2. • After hiking, we can go to a local restaurant for lunch before heading back.

COST
Super Early birds: $29 for first 7 spots or by Jun 12th whichever comes first; Early birds: $39 for first 7 spots or 10 days in advance whichever comes first; Regular: Afterward $49
Trip includes: Round trip transportation from NYC area, tolls if any, guided hiking at Mount Tammany via Red Dot and Blue Dot Loop Trail, and water bottles.
