Another new venue for us! We'll be heading to the Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden on Staten Island! It used to be a retirement home for sailors, during the 19th and 20th centuries.
Since 1976, the buildings and grounds have been managed by Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden as a cultural center complex and used by various cultural and arts organizations.
It's a large space, please bring comfortable shoes and plenty of water! There's also food in case anyone gets hungry. There may be an additional option to go somewhere else afterwards. We'll see! 😏
⚠️ This trip requires the free Staten Island Ferry and the paid bus! We will take the 12:30pm Staten Island Ferry, so to allow as many people to get there, I'll confirm the start time to 12pm. If you miss the 12:30pm ferry, it will be very difficult to catch up, so DO NOT BOARD the 1pm ferry, and be sure to catch us at the next one!
