2 Talks: Baking static analysis processes into your CI pipeline + The I/O of DevOps NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE 6:30! • 6:30pm Doors open • 6:30-7pm Social time • 7pm: Speaker starts • 9pm: Meeting ends ------- Speaker 1: Andy Dennis - Baking static analysis processes into your CI pipeline ------- Speaker 2: Sean Mack and Larry Gordon - The I/O of DevOps Description: For far too long technology teams have lived in silos. Not only organizational silos, but also information silos. Application and service data within companies is often as segregated, if not more, than the teams that build and maintain them. In this talk we take a look at the ways in which the many input sources can be brought together to provide a holistic picture of how your applications and services are performing for your customers. We will also look at a new open source tool, xView, which can help break down these information silos. We will also look at ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana, Nagios, Zabbix and New Relic and how they can help with the breaking down of siloes. Key takeaways for attendees include: ● Insight into how informational silos may be impacting your organization today and practical steps to address the problem. ● Ways to share the right data with the right people. ● Key pitfalls to avoid when looking at data aggregation solutions.
