Any interest in a John Kerry and Teresa Heinz Kerry with Charlie Rose: The World We Live In lecture Meetup Event?

New York, NY
Post #: 184
Hi everyone,

Glenn from the Upper Green Side and I wanted to know if there's any interest in creating a Meetup event for a John Kerry event.

John Kerry will be coming to the 92nd street Y on 3/12 to discuss environmental issues with Charlie Rose. Tickets are $25 rear orchestra for the lecture. If we have a group of 20 or more for the event, then we can get a room to have drinks beforehand.

We want to take a quick head count of who's interested, so please email me or respond to this post if you are.

John Kerry and Teresa Heinz Kerry with Charlie Rose: The World We Live In

John Kerry, the 2004 Democratic presidential nominee, says that everyone?not just environmentalists?has a stake in how we treat the planet. Kerry, a four-term senator from Massachusetts, talks about how the environmental movement can survive the tempests ahead with resilience, ingenuity and independence. Kerry, a lifelong proponent of environmental causes, is also a Navy veteran who earned a Silver Star, a Bronze Star and three Purple Hearts for his service in Vietnam. He is the coauthor, with his wife, Teresa Heinz Kerry, of a new book. Teresa Heinz Kerry is the chair of The Howard Heinz Endowment and the Heinz Family Philanthropies (collectively, the Heinz Foundations), disbursing money to various social and environmental causes.

After the lecture, attend a post-event wine and cheese mixer.
Tickets are $10 for the reception; $25 rear orchestra for the lecture; and $35 for the lecture/reception combination. To order the lecture/reception combination, call 212.415.5500.
