NYC Family Office Networking Event - The Living Room at Lavo

Family Office Networking Event - Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 5:30PM

Please join us for an evening of networking on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at The Living Room (located downstairs at Lavo at 39 East 58th Street, between Madison and Park, North side of 58th Street across from Tao - enter through Lavo, make a right and go downstairs) from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM. There is a nominal $20 admission fee and there will be a cash bar. The admission fee will help offset some of our costs for developing more of a web presence to expand the network and create better events going forward.

Here is the website for Lavo: http://lavony.com/ . Lavo is a new Italian Restuarant that just opened in September 2010. They also have a very successful restaurant in Las Vegas. The Living Room just opened in January 2011.

This event is open to representatives of single and multiple family offices, and those who focus on serving family offices. Please feel free to reach out to family offices that you know to invite them to this event. This event represents an opportunity to meet others in the family office space, exchange ideas, and develop relationships.

Please be respectful of each others time. This is not the venue to pitch your family's latest venture or your new hedge fund. From reviewing the feedback from various sources, people are weary of being pitched. Let's keep the focus on how we can create value for each other and for this community. Business is about relationships, and this is an opportunity to begin relationships. Let's start by giving first. From that perspective, I am already working with several members of this community to create additional events, that will be of value and interest to the family office community. Details will follow shortly.
