Frost & Flame: Sunset Walk in Prospect Park Finale

On March 14, we’ll gather in Prospect Park for the final walk in our winter series. Because it’s winter, the sun hangs low, casting a fiery light that makes the park feel especially magical.

📍 Meetup & Walk Start:
Meet us at 5 PM at Velvette Black (814 Union St, Brooklyn, NY 11215) to enjoy coffee or tea before we begin our sunset walk. We’ll gather for about 30 minutes before departing.

🌅 Walk Highlights:

• Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Arch & Grand Army Plaza – An iconic entrance and historic monument framed by winter light.

• Long Meadow – Wide open fields with bare trees silhouetted against the sky.

• Prospect Park Lake – Calm water reflecting bare branches and the fading sky.

• Duck Island – A quiet, tucked-away spot to catch the last light over the water.
