Crimson & Gold: A Fall Walk in Central Park

On October 24, we’re taking an autumn walk through Central Park, exploring some of the park’s most beautiful fall spots, iconic bridges, scenic paths, and colorful foliage. Join us for a relaxed afternoon stroll through the park, with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the scenery, take photos, and finish together at the Conservatory Garden.
📍 Meetup: Columbus Circle / 59th Street Entrance at 2:00 PM, by the M5 Bus Stop. We’ll spend 30 minutes mingling before beginning the walk at 2:30 PM.
Along the way, we’ll visit some of Central Park’s most scenic spots:
• The Pond & Gapstow Bridge - an iconic Central Park view surrounded by fall foliage, with beautiful reflections and photo opportunities.
• The Mall & Literary Walk - a scenic promenade lined with towering elm trees and a beautiful autumn canopy.
• Bethesda Terrace & Fountain + Bow Bridge - one of the park’s most iconic areas, with stunning architecture, views, and fall scenery. We’ll pause here for about 10 minutes.
• Cedar Hill - a peaceful hill surrounded by colorful trees and a quieter stretch of the park.
• Turtle Pond - a scenic spot with views of the surrounding foliage and reflections on the water. We’ll pause here for about 5 minutes.
• Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir - a scenic stretch with panoramic water views surrounded by autumn colors.
• North Meadow - an open area surrounded by trees, where we’ll stop for a group photo. We’ll pause here for about 5 minutes.
• Conservatory Garden - a beautiful six-acre formal garden in the northeast corner of the park and the final stop of our walk. Feel free to stay and enjoy the garden before heading home.
🚶 Walk: Approximately 2.5 miles at a relaxed pace (~2–2.5 hours)
