This month Rossen Stoyanchev of Pivotal will be presenting on Spring Framework 4.0's support for WebSocket, SockJS, and STOMP-based message brokering.
In his presentation Rossen will provide a comprehensive update on the subject from a Spring developer's perspective. He will discuss JSR-356 strengths and limitations, the current status of WebSocket runtimes, and most importantly will introduce the comprehensive WebSocket and SockJS support in Spring Framework 4. Finally, he will cover Spring Framework 4.0's support for STOMP-based message brokering.
Rossen is a senior staff engineer at Pivotal focusing on web development. He is a committer on the core Spring Framework team responsible for the development of Spring MVC. Prior to that Rossen spent several years teaching and consulting clients building enterprise Java applications in a broad range of areas.
