A night of talks from our members!

This night of talks is devoted to bringing to light all those handy *nix style utilities that make life great. What's even better is that these talks will be given by NYC Python's very own members! Eight to twelve NYC Python members will each give a 5 - 7 minute talk on one (maybe two if they are both quick) of the many command line utilities at our finger tips in any *nix style environment.

If you would like to give one of these 5-7 minute talks, take these three actions:

(1) Claim the command on this event's conversation board below. Something like "I call grep!" for example. Please do a quick scan and make sure no one has claimed it already.

(2) Email me at paul at nycpython dot com to confirm your claim. This way we can contact you about the talk if need be. I promise I will not send spam.

(3) Come to DigitalOcean on May 1st and share what you know and what you've learned about your command. Please make sure to RSVP!

This will be lots of fun and we will have a blast!

We will be hosted and fed by the DigitalOcean (https://www.digitalocean.com/) team! Thanks DO!
