NYC Python Weekly Digest: Lightning Talks! Project Night!

Hey everybody,

Another week, another Python meetup. Or in this case, two. Aren't we all so lucky?

On Wednesday we've got your regular Project Night! Project Nights are an informal hack night organized by the NYC Python community to give programmers a space to work on projects, find help, and find collaborators. Think of it as a Starbucks but filled with plenty of other smart people like yourself. RSVP here:!

...Annnnd, on Thursday, we're doing another round of Lightning Talks! Don't know what lightning talks are? It's a great, low pressure way to get some practice with public, technical speaking. You have 5 minutes to give a quick talk on a technical subject; slides or code examples are helpful, but not necessary. RSVP here!

Both nights we're in Microsoft's Times Square office, conveniently connected to every known subway (the L is too obscure, sorry), the Hudson River bike path, and the Port Authority. Meaning there's a million ways to get there!

Catch you soon,
