The 6* Borough Skate [Advanced]

Save the date for Empire Skate Clubs 6 Borough Skate.... That's right 6 borough! We will be meeting on the Manhattan side of the Staten Island Ferry at 9:30 AM to catch the 10AM ferry to Staten Island where the skate will start. Due to there not being a direct way to access Staten Island without a vehicle from NYC we will skate through NJ in order to enter Manhattan via the George Washington Bridge.
The remainder of the route is still subject to change but we'll be hitting the Bronx, Queens, and Brooklyn with a potential food stop at Arthur Avenue in the Bronx.

The skate will end in prospect park with plenty of transportation options around.

Skates are not allowed on the Staten Island Ferry so be sure to bring something you can board the boat in.

Total Mileage: ~55 miles

Skating is inherently dangerous and you do so at your own risk. Helmets and wrist guards are encouraged. You must comfortable skating in the street and be able to stop on your own even when skating down hill. There will be some fairly hilly areas on the route.
