The 6* Borough Skate 1.5 [Advanced]

Save the date Saturday May 2nd Empire Skate Club is running back our 6 Borough Skate.... IN REVERSE!!! That's right 6 borough! We will be meeting on the north side of prospect park at 9:30am and rolling out at 10AM. We'll skate through Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan and the Bronx. Due to there not being a direct way to access Staten Island without a vehicle from NYC we will also pass through NJ in order to enter Staten island.
The skate will end at the Staten island ferry terminal to take the ferry back to south street with plenty of transportation options around.
Skates are not allowed on the Staten Island Ferry so be sure to bring something you can board the boat in.
Total Mileage: ~55 miles
This is an advanced skate with lots of change in elevation and multiple bridges.
Skating is inherently dangerous and you do so at your own risk. Helmets and wrist guards are encouraged. You must comfortable skating in the street and be able to stop on your own even when skating down hill. There will be some fairly hilly areas on the route.
