Beach to Beach Skate (INTERMEDIATE)
Details
We're taking an easy(intermediate) roll from Coney Island to Rockaway Beach and back. It's 11-12 miles each way. We're gonna rest at Rockaway for a few hours. Then we'll skate back to Coney Island to catch the 4th of July Fireworks.
Running late -
You can meet us at Far Rockaway and do just the skate back to Coney Island, but that's only half the fun.
Bring your bathing suit, sunscreen, sunglasses, and beach vibes. Bathing suit optional. Beach vibes mandatory.
Intermediate - While our pace is moderate, we are skating a significant distance. For those new here, an intermediate skater knows how to manage speed, energy, hydration, and varied surfaces during a variety of conditions. They can safely navigate around pedestrians, cyclists, vehicles, and dogs.
