Empire/Pineapple Foiliage Ride Advanced Skate/Easy Bike

This ride is organzid by a www.pineappleride.org a cycling focused non-profit. They have invited skaters to join but feel free to join on bike or skates. The ride is over 70 miles and includes some pretty steep hills so it is an advanced skate. We will also be attending as their guests and should be able to keep up with their pace of 8-12 mph.
The Foliage Ride 2026 takes riders north along the Hudson on October 10, 2026 to chase peak fall color. Two start windows, two distances. The Brooklyn start roll 75 miles up; the Queens express start meet the route at the Astoria Park for a 60-mile day. Every mile marshaled, with rest stops, mechanical support and BBQ at the midpoint stop.
