A Fall Foliage Walk in Central Park (86th to 59th Streets)
Details
Hello Shutterbugs, autumn has officially fallen; the weather has finally turned cooler; and the leaves are finally beginning to change into vibrant colors of red, yellow, and orange.
Let's use this Sunday as a good time to walk and shoot around Central Park and see what kind of colorful leaves we can find! We'll meet at the corner of of 86th and Central Park West, and walk downward to 59th Street. And as always, all you need to carry along with you is your camera. All RSVPs will close at 5:00 PM on Saturday, October 17.
Please note that the 86th Street subway station on the [C] line is uptown service only for the weekend of Oct. 17-18; if you are travelling from downtown and the Bronx, it may be best to take the [1] train to 86th Street/Broadway and walk three blocks to 86th Street & CPW (10-min walk).
Should there be rain in the forecast, I will notify everyone via the group discussions, and update this page on whether this event will be rescheduled.
