Get into the holiday spirit in the Hudson Valley with this special adventure! We’ll be taking a trip to check out the Guinness Book of World Records holder for the residential house with the most Christmas lights! 750,000!! Plus we will enjoy a tasting of local wine, hard cider or craft beer at a local vineyard and end the evening with a delicious dinner at The American Bounty Farm to Table restaurant at the award winning American Bounty Restaurant at the famed Culinary Institute of America.
How it works:
Take the 11:56am Metro North Train from Grand Central to Poughkeepsie, NY or you can drive to meet the group at the train station.
Your host (Dave Cervini) will meet you at the train station at 1:48pm.
From there we will head to Red Maple Vineyard for tasty appetizers and samples of local wines, hard ciders and craft beer.
Then it is on to a trip to a house in Lagrangeville, NY that holds the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest holiday lights display. Check it out here.
We’ll end the night with dinner at The American Bounty restaurant at The famed Culinary Institute of America, the leading culinary institute in the world!
You will be back on the 8:58pm train to Grand Central.
Cost: $185 General Members /$175 Lifetime VIP Members.
Included: transportation to and from train station to all activities. appetizers and beverages at Red Maple Vineyard and a 3 course meal at the Culinary Institute (menu below) a soft drink or mocktail.
Not included: train fare, alcoholic beverages at the Institute.
Can I come Alone: Yes most people will be coming on their own. Limited to 8 members.
