Creative Writing Café

This is a non-judgmental, positive and friendly environment where participants can share their writing, meet other writers, and have some time to write in silence.

Our schedule goes something like this:
Introductions (first 15 minutes)
Silent Writing (1 hour)
Sharing Work and Feedback (45 minutes, 5 minutes per person)

After someone finishes reading, listeners should only share positive feedback. This has been the protocol for this group and is what members have come to expect.

Sometimes we go a little over 6pm. This is a long-standing writing group that used to meet at the Sleeping Cat Café which then went out of business but now has been replaced with Books N' Cup. We kept our weekly meetings going in the meantime at various locations.
