Come join WSSL for our monthly .22 Rifle Shoot!
Have you always wanted to learn how to handle a firearm but didn't know where to start? Or do you have some (or a lot) of shooting experience but don't know where to practice in the city? Then come join us for WSSL's monthly .22 rifle shoot! Learn safe and responsible markswoman skills with a group of fun and friendly ladies at the Westside Rifle and Pistol Range.

Feel free to bring friends! (Remind them to register in advance!) All levels are welcome (never shot, beginners, intermediate, advanced). We will have some fun shooting drills, too! This meetup is limited to women, but we do have co-ed shoots sporadically throughout the year, so keep posted!
To Register:
The Range requires that new students, and returnees who are NOT Westside members, get a new background check if their current one is more than 4 months old. THE RANGE'S PROCEDURE FOR CONDUCTING THE BACKGROUND CHECK HAS CHANGED SIGNIFICANTLY. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY.
REGISTRATION CAN NO LONGER BE COMPLETED ON-LINE. INSTEAD, NEW STUDENTS, AND RETURNEES WHO ARE NOT WESTSIDE MEMBERS AND HAVE BACKGROUND CHECKS THAT ARE MORE THEN 4 MONTHS OLD, MUST CALL THE RANGE AT (212)929-7287 AT LEAST 5 DAYS BEFORE THE WSSL EVENT AND SPEAK TO A WESTSIDE STAFF MEMBER. MENTION THAT THE CALLER IS REGISTERING FOR THE NEXT WSSL EVENT AND NEEDS A BACKGROUND CHECK. THE WESTSIDE STAFF MEMBER WILL ASK FOR THE REQUIRED INFORMATION, OR MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO SPEAK TO THE CALLER IN ORDER TO GATHER IT.
THE STUDENT WILL NOT RECEIVE A TRANSACTION ID WHEN THEIR BACKFROUND CHECK IS COMPLETED. THEY CAN ASSUME THAT THEY HAVE PASSED THE BACKGROUND CHECK UNLESS A WESTSIDE STAFF MEMBER CONTACTS THEM TO DISCUSS ANY IRREGULARITIES IN THEIR INFORMATION.
Price: $35 (plus tax) to the range. You can pay the range after the event: cash, check or charge. This fee includes classroom safety instruction, private instruction on the firing line, rental of a .22 rifle, one box of ammo (additional ammo is available from WSSL while supplies last; please make a small donation to cover the cost of this ammo) and eye/ear protection. We also ask that you please donate $5 (or whatever you feel like donating) to WSSL directly to help cover our operating costs like our website fees, locker rental at the range, etc.
FIRST TIME SHOOTERS (First time shooting with us/Westside):
When you arrive at the Range on WSSL night pick up your brown ID card at the office. You will sign in using the Range ID number on your brown ID card every time you attend WSSL.
RETURNING SHOOTERS:

WESTSIDE RANGE MEMBERS:

ALL SHOOTERS:
If you've registered, but find that you can't attend, please e-mail Lauren at info@nycwssl.org As soon as possible so we have an accurate headcount for the Range.
