Bayesian First Aid & RStan

Rasmus Bååth - PHD Student visiting from Lund University in Sweden. He will present Bayesian First Aid (http://www.sumsar.net/blog/2014/01/bayesian-first-aid/): an R package which provides Bayesian alternatives to common classical statistical tests.

Ben Goodrich - Lecturer at the Applied Statistics Center at Columbia University; core contributer to RStan (http://mc-stan.org/rstan.html). RStan is a probabilistic programming language implementing full Bayesian statistical inference.

Doors open at 6:30. Presentations start at 6:45. Each will be about 30 mins + time for questions. There will be time at the end for mingling.
