This is the monthly planning meeting for the New York Energy Week Steering Committee, energy-interested community, and friends. Please Join us as we plan for NYEW 2019!
Do you want to help shape the future of New York's energy industry? Come see what New York Energy Week is all about. This meeting is open to current committee members as well as other energy professionals and energy business students who want to get involved in New York's annual cross-sector energy industry series.

David Jacoby bio:
- President of Boston Strategies International, provider of scientific research, feasibility studies, and commercial due diligence in energy and e-mobility. Prior consulting on strategy and performance improvement for global clients in oil & gas, power, automotive, logistics, retail, and other industries. Founded 3 companies and authored 5 books on supply chain management.
- Has consulted to energy, automotive, and other clients in over 50 countries. Has taught graduate Operations Management at Boston University. Serves or has served on the Board of Directors and/or committees of the North American Electric Reliability Corporation, New York Energy Week, the University of Pennsylvania (Technology & Innovation Society), APICS (President & Chair, Boston APICS); the Council of Logistics Management (President & Chair, New England Roundtable); the Institute for Supply Management’s (VP, Logistics & Transportation Group), the International Supply Chain Education Alliance (Chief Judge, Ptak Prize Selection Committee), and others.
- Holds an MBA from the Wharton School, a Masters in International Business from The Joseph H. Lauder Institute of International Studies, and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a Certified Energy Procurement Professional (CEP), a Certified Fellow in Production and Inventory Management (CFPIM), Certified in Supply Chain Management (CSCP), Certified in Integrated Resource Management (CIRM), Certified in Purchasing Management (Lifetime C.P.M.), and Certified in Transportation and Logistics (CTL).
